Assets policy

The Katoomba Men's Shed assets policy has been developed to ensure the following:

• That assets of the Shed are acquired, managed and disposed of in accordance with the Shed’s legal and moral responsibilities as a not-for profit organisation, and in accordance with the Shed Rules (Constitution).
• That appropriate and adequate records are kept about the acquisition, management and disposal of valuable items.

The policy has a particular focus on the disposal of assets, including donated items that are surplus to Shed needs.
