Katoomba Men Angry at Theft from Shed

 Members of Katoomba Men’s shed are angry at the recent theft of over $1000 worth of timber and building materials from a storage shed at Katoomba Showground.

 “All the materials have been donated by local businesses, service clubs and members of the public and was to be used in further renovation and special projects at the Men’s Shed” said shed secretary, Greg Jaques.

 “The thefts most likely occurred around the 21^st or 22^nd of October. We are asking to anyone who has any information about the theft to contact Katoomba Police” said Mr Jaques.

 In the meantime Katoomba Men’s Shed is appealing for replacement materials, particularly hardwood, oregon and guttering.

 “We would like to acknowledge all those who donated the stolen material, especially L&S Woodcraft, Katoomba Rotary and Lions” added Mr Jaques..
